Sleeks Rose Gold is a blush that was always on my wishlist. I saw on their website that this blush was incorporated in one of their Face Form palettes. Recently, I went to Superdrug in Manchester and I picked up the Face Form Contouring & Blush Palette in Light. So it has the Rose Gold blush plus a bronzer and a highlighter.
On their website, Sleek states that the Face Form palette is a sister product of the Face Contour kit. There are 4 Face Form palettes in their collection; Fair, Light, Medium and Dark. Fair and Light have a contour powder, highlighter and blush. Medium and Dark come with a contour powder, highlighter and bronzer. Light has the Rose Gold blush in the palette, so that's why I picked it up.
The Light Face Form palette comes in a black sleek packaging and has a mirror inside it. I really like the look and the sturdiness of the palette! It consists of 3 powders, which makes this palette easy to take with you when you are travelling. In the picture above you can also see the ingredients for all three powders.
1. Contour powder: a matte, brown powder. The colour is a bit on the warm side. For people with a really light skin tone, I think this shade of brown would possibly be a little bit too dark to use as a bronzer.
2. Highlighter: a shimmery, champagne-coloured highlighter. This highlighter has some gold tones to it and also shows up on the skin like a more golden highlighter.
3. Blush: a shimmery, pink/coral blush with some gold shimmer. This is definitely my favourite out of the three; I love the colour and the shimmer! It doesn't really show up on the picture I took, but it has some serious golden shimmer in it. If you are more into matte blushes or blushes with only a tiny bit of shimmer, you may not like this blush.
All the three powders have great pigmentation and staying power on the skin throughout the day. The powders last all day on my skin. But I did notice that the blush had the most staying power and the highlighter was a bit less noticeable after a few hours. Overall, my favourites from the palette are the blush and highlighter. I normally don't like to use bronzer everyday and this bronzer is a bit on the warm side for my liking.
Conclusion: a lovely palette by Sleek for the price. I would also just buy this palette for the blush and highlighter alone. The staying power and pigmentation are both great. It is great for travelling purposes as you only need to take this palette instead of three different products in your make up bag. I would definitely recommend this palette.
