My favourite colours to wear on my nails are pink and red shades. I have a lot of shades of pink and red and not so much of other colours. When I went to our local drugstore I picked up yet another red nail polish.

Essie's A-list is a beautiful classic red colour. I like that it's more of a blue-ish red than an orange red. It gives a nice opaque colour when I apply 2 layers of nail polish. With most nail polishes (at least for me) it chips after 4-5 days. Most of the time I don't notice a difference in staying power compared to a cheaper brand, such as Catrice.

Conclusion: I love the colour, it's a true red and sophisticated colour! It won't a last you a week without chips, but around 4-5 days without chips. If you are more on a budget, I prefer a red nail polish from Catrice. That will also do just the same as Essie in my opinion.
