So this week there was a 20% discount on two products
of your own choice at the drugstore. Lately I was eyeing the lip pencils from Catrice
Cosmetics. Perfect timing I thought!

Catrice claims that the Longlasting Lip Pencils are
waterproof and lasts up to 4 hours. My experience was that it does lasts around
4 hours, but it won't survive a meal. They also contain Vitamin C and E, so
that your lips won't dry out.

Some lip pencils are kind of hard and difficult to
apply. But this is definitely not the case with the Catrice
lip pencil. It glides on very smoothly and you don't need to push very hard to
get some colour pay off. I would describe the colour as a pink-brown
matte, my-lips-but-better colour.
I tested it on my lips with and without lipbalm. I can
wear the lip liner on its own, but it is a bit on the dry side.

Conclusion: I love it! It's a very natural and everyday kind of colour. You can
wear it on its own, but I would recommend pairing it with a lipstick or lipbalm
if you have dry lips. The only downside is that you can't twist the product up,
you will have to sharpen the pencil. But if this is not a problem for you, I
would definitely recommend this product considering it's price.
