TUTORIAL: Boxer Braid Hairstyle / Double Dutch Braid

Boxer Braid Hairstyle / Double Dutch Braid

One of my favourite hairstyles at the moment is the Boxer Braid. I love it because it is so easy to do (but looks harder!) and keeps your hair out of your face the whole day. The Boxer Braid is basically a double Dutch braid. In this blog post I am going to show you how I like to do the Boxer Braid.

Step 1: Start off by dividing your hair into two equal sections.

Step 2: Tie one section off (we'll start with the braiding with the other section first).

Step 3: Grab a small section at the front of the hair (I like to start close to the parting). Start making a Dutch braid. It is the opposite of a French braid. Instead of crossing the outer strands over the middle strand, start braiding the middle over the outer strands.

Step 4: Continue to braid all the way down and tie the ends off with a clear or black small elastic. Now one section is finished!

Step 5: Do the same thing on the other section of your hair and then you're finished!

I hope you like this hairstyle as much as I do!
