I love a good french manicure on my nails. However, I don't like the painted on strong white layer on my nails. It has to be subtle, with a soft pink on the nail bed. Essie's Mademoiselle is the perfect nail polish for that! I think everyone knows this colour, as it is one of Essie's most popular colours.

Essie describes Mademoiselle as a classic grown-up pink, and that is really what this colour of this nail polish. Mademoiselle makes your nails look very clean and well manicured. In the picture below you can see the swatch on my nails. I find that 2 coats looks the best, 1 coat is too sheer and 3 is a tad too much.

Conclusion: this is my go-to nail polish when I want a natural and clean look on my nails. On my nails, Mademoiselle lasts around 4 to 5 days without getting chips. Obviously, it doesn't give you a sheer coverage, but I don't think it was meant for that. Two coats gives me the coverage that I like best, and overall Mademoiselle is my favourite Essie nail polish!
